Remote state estimation problem: Towards the data-rate limit along the avenue of the second Lyapunov method

Abstract In the context of control and estimation under information constraints, restoration entropy measures minimal required data rate above which state a system can be estimated so that quality does not degrade over time and, conversely, improved. The remote observer here is assumed to receive its through communication channel finite bit-rate capacity. this paper, we provide new characterization require compute any temporal limit, i.e., an asymptotic quantity. Our formula based on idea finding specific Riemannian metric space makes metric-dependent upper estimate as tight one wishes.
